Rallies in Last Asylum: Plague guide & automation.
Rallies let you earn rewards alongside your alliance, but joining without checking the target can cost you a squad. This guide covers how rallies work, which ones to join, and how to avoid unnecessary losses. It also explains how to set up FarmHarder to join rallies while you’re offline.
How rallies work
An alliance member starts a rally from a monster’s card on the map. Other members can each send one squad to join. The rally sets off when it is full or the gathering timer runs out. After the fight, everyone receives a battle report by mail. Starting a rally costs 20 stamina; joining one costs none.
The rally leader chooses the gathering time: 1 or 5 minutes at any castle level, or 10 or 30 minutes from castle level 7 onward.
Rallies against the alliance boss always have a 3-minute gathering time.
Most game screenshots below use the Russian interface. The captions explain the relevant controls and details.
Starting and joining a rally
Start a rally
- Open a monster’s card on the map and tap Rally. You need a War Hall to do this.
- Choose a gathering time and a squad. As the leader, you pay the stamina cost and your squad fights first.
- Wait for your allies to join. The rally sets off when it is full or the timer runs out.
Join a rally
- Find a rally that is still gathering in the War Hall, or open one from alliance chat.
- Check who has already joined and where your squad would fall in the fighting order. The rally board shows each member’s heroes and soldiers, along with the monster’s might.
- Tap Join Rally, choose a squad and send it. You must be close enough to the rally leader or gathering point; otherwise, the game tells you that you are too far away.
- Check your mail for the battle report. You receive a reward only if the rally wins.
Which squads take losses?
Squads fight one at a time, in the order they joined. Each squad continues the fight from where the previous one left off. The first squad usually takes the heaviest losses. A stronger monster can wipe it out, particularly a Hell Nurse or Thief Leader; this is less common with Elite Blights. Squads that join later often earn the same participation reward without fighting at all.
To reduce the risk, aim to join third or later and send a squad you can afford to lose. If you start the rally yourself, your squad always fights first.
Wandering Blight is an exception. It creates several copies of itself, which the squads must defeat in turn. Joining later does not offer the same protection against losses.
The infirmary
Severely wounded soldiers go to the infirmary. If there are no beds left, they die. Healing takes about a third of the food, wood and time needed to train replacements, so make room in the infirmary before joining a rally.
Rally rewards
Members receive participation rewards only when the rally wins. The leader receives the kill reward, which includes hero experience and items. For most monster families, you can earn participation rewards from 20 rallies per day.
Thief Leader has no daily limit on participation rewards. A successful rally awards 36 Lion Coins to each joining member and 78 to the leader, regardless of the boss’s level. Wandering Blight awards Raven Fruit and hero experience. The first kill of each level per day also gives a survivor box: SR at levels 100–150 and SSR at 160–190.
Rally targets and related events
Elite Blight
Elite Blights are common rally targets on the world map. They are the only monster family with a castle-level requirement: your castle must be at least the blight’s level, with the requirement capped at level 20. Alliances often rally against low-level blights throughout the day. A strong first squad can defeat one alone, letting the other members collect rewards without fighting.
Thief Hunt
During Thief Hunt, you search for Gold Thieves and attack them. Defeating one sometimes spawns a Thief Leader, a rally boss ranging from level 5 to 135. A newly spawned leader has a 5-minute shield, shown on its card. Once it expires, anyone can start a rally against it.
Check your server’s rules before attacking a thief found by another player. Some servers reserve them for the finder. Some players also leave their thieves for allies to kill, believing that more kills lead to a higher-level Thief Leader. That remains unconfirmed; the game data does not establish a connection. Wandering Blight
Wandering Blights range from level 100 to 190 and remain on the map for a few hours. Because you have to fight several copies, joining later is no guarantee of avoiding combat. Only send a squad with more might than the blight. The first kill of each level per day also awards a survivor box, as described in the rewards section.
Hell Nurse (Pandemic Experience)
In Pandemic Experience, you summon Hell Nurses starting at the lowest level. A solo attack costs 10 or 20 stamina, depending on the difficulty. If your squad cannot defeat the nurse alone, start a rally so your alliance can help finish the fight.
Cheese Trap
Two Cheese Traps open each day, but you can participate in only one. If you try to join the second, the game tells you that you have already joined another Cheese Trap challenge. Rallies gather for 3 minutes. Every squad loses its fight regardless of might, with most soldiers receiving light wounds. Rewards arrive by mail and depend on the damage you deal.
Cheese Trap is the only rally where the leader’s alliance rank or position provides a damage bonus. This applies to R4, R5 and alliance office holders.
Demon King
Demon Kings can only be attacked solo. You have up to 10 attacks per day in total, and the first 3 against each king earn rewards by mail. There are three kings: Warrior, Ranger and Warlock, each available on two days of the week. Heroes whose class counters the current king deal 50% extra damage, so choose your squad accordingly.
The game’s own Auto Rally
The Auto Rally alliance technology lets you join rallies while offline. In its settings, choose how long it should run and which targets to join: Elite Blight or Alliance Hunt (the alliance boss). You can use a saved lineup, or send all soldiers with heroes chosen by the game. You can also set a wounded-soldier limit that stops Auto Rally when reached.
Auto Rally sends your selected lineup into any available rally of the chosen type, regardless of who started it. It does not check the other participants or your squad’s position in the fighting order. The settings do not include options to always send your strongest squad or to join only rallies led by officers, despite claims in some guides. KMA handbook, Rallies
How FarmHarder joins rallies for you
FarmHarder runs in the cloud and monitors your alliance’s open rallies, even when your phone is off. Before joining, it checks the target, the squads already in the rally and your squad’s place in the fighting order.
The bot estimates how many of your soldiers would die in that fight, including wounded soldiers who would have no space in the infirmary. It joins if the estimate is within your loss limit. Otherwise, it skips the rally and records the reason.
The bot joins one rally at a time using the squads you allow. It observes the daily reward limits of 20 joins per monster family, with the Thief Leader exception described above. It does not start rallies. Alliance boss rallies have separate settings, and Wandering Blight requires a squad with more might than the target.
You can also send a squad manually from the rally board, regardless of your automatic loss limit. FarmHarder joins through the same Join Rally action you use in the game; it does not rely on the built-in Auto Rally feature.
What you control
Automatic joining
Use the switch at the top to turn automatic joining on or off. When it is off, you can still send squads manually.
Maximum soldier deaths (%)
Set the maximum percentage of sent soldiers you are willing to lose. The bot joins only if the estimated deaths stay within that limit. The screenshot shows a limit of 2%.
Which squads the bot may send
Allow every squad or select specific ones. The bot evaluates your strongest available squad from that selection and sends it if the rally meets your settings.
Fair play
With fair play on, the bot waits after the rally opens before it joins: 30 seconds unless you set another delay.
Send a squad manually
The open rally board shows the estimated deaths and total soldiers for each available squad. You can send any of them manually, even if your automatic settings would exclude the squad or reject the estimated losses.
How to read the screen
Open rally board
- Open rallies · 2
- This list shows alliance rallies that are still gathering, excluding the alliance boss. Each row shows the target, its level, the leader and the time left to join.
- Squad 1 in the rally
- This confirms that your squad has joined the rally. The label appears once the bot sees your squad among the participants.
- Skipped: too costly
- Your strongest available squad was expected to lose more soldiers than your limit allows. Here, the estimate is about 126 deaths against a limit of 42.
- The + buttons
- Click + to choose a squad and send it manually. The dialog shows the estimated deaths alongside the number of soldiers each squad would send.
Rally history
- Won · 225 dead
- The rally won, with 225 of your soldiers reported dead. A lost rally shows “Lost” followed by the number of deaths.
- Skipped
- The bot did not join this rally. The entry gives the reason, such as excessive losses, a full rally, a closed gathering window, a daily limit or no available squad.
- Predicted · actual
- Open an entry to compare the forecast with the battle report. Both show deaths, soldiers sent to the infirmary and light wounds for your squad and the other participants.
Screenshots show the bot’s interface with anonymized example data. Estimates appear before a fight; actual losses come from the battle report.
Limits to keep in mind
- The bot never starts rallies
- FarmHarder joins rallies started by alliance members. You or an ally still need to start each rally in the game.
- Forecasts are estimates
- Actual losses can differ from the estimate. Check the battle report for the final result.
- The game’s daily limit applies
- Most monster families award participation rewards for up to 20 rallies per day. Thief Leader is the exception. When a family reaches its limit, the bot stops joining its rallies and records the reason in the history.
- Needs an active bot
- The bot needs to be running, and your account must have active access to the service, for it to monitor rallies and send squads.
Common questions
Does it join every rally?
No. The rally must still be gathering, have room for your squad and be within the monster family’s daily limit. The bot also needs an available squad that you have allowed it to use, with estimated deaths within your loss limit. Guard Blight has an extra check: the bot must know your resistance. If it is too low, the bot joins only when it expects earlier squads to finish the fight before yours takes a turn. For Wandering Blight, it compares might instead of estimating losses. Skipped rallies appear in the history with a reason.
Does it use the game’s own Auto Rally?
No. FarmHarder checks the rally and sends a squad through the same Join Rally action a player uses. It joins one rally at a time.
Can I join manually?
Yes. Use the + button on the open rally board to see available squads and their estimated losses. Manual orders ignore the loss limit and squad restrictions used for automatic joining.
Why was a rally skipped?
Check the history entry for the reason. Common causes include a full rally, a gathering timer that has ended, a daily limit or no available squad. “Too costly” means the estimated deaths for your strongest available squad exceeded your loss limit.
Does it work with my phone off?
Yes. FarmHarder runs in the cloud, so it can monitor and join rallies while your phone is off.
